Men’s Style
Tomorrow my beloved boyfriend Mister J and I will be hitting the stores. As we were overseas last winter, both of us have found that we’re severely lacking good winter pieces, or in his case, any winter clothes at all. A summer devotee, Mister J prickles at the thought of wearing jumpers or long pants. Thankfully he has finally conceded that it is simply getting too cold to parade around in t-shirts and has agreed to let me take him shopping.
He is even fussier than I when it comes to his wears. He has a focused rock-aesthetic which, in this age of fluro and v-necked everything, is very difficult to cater for. He prefers a very casual approach to his clothes with formal shoes and shirts very rarely making an appearance unless it is absolutely necessary.
Casual

Smart Casual
I’ve put two pairs of shoes in here because while I think the black converse would look the best with this outfit, I know he doesn’t like them and would probably prefer the white skate shoes.
I created some polyvore sets to show him what I had in mind for him. I’ve repeated some of the items across the sets to show how to mix and match in different styles. Some of these items he probably already has in his wardrobe like the tshirts, others we’ll have to find. I would like to see him introduce some burgandy and navy blue into his colour palate. My list for him tomorrow would be:
- Light Denim Jeans
- Casual Shoes
- Smart Casual Shirt
- A couple of plain hoodies
- Long Sleeve T-Shirts
